ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

For boxing day game

"All I want for christmas is 3 points
oh, all I want for christmas is 3 points
ohhh ,all I want for christmas
all I want for christmas
all I want for christmas is three points."

since it is against the runts,

all they want for christmas is their two front teeth.

Hark now hear the Coasties sing,
Newcastle ran away.
And we will fight for evermore because of Boxing Day!

Just had an idea, not sure if it has been mentioned.

But anyway, it has a easy beat for the drums and clapping, and everyone should know most the words, if not the chorus - "We will rock you" by Queen

that was our winning song at an old football club, except it was "we will f**k you"

was great to bang the shit out of anything in the dressing sheds to the beat

made a massive amount of noise

Must've been a long time ago Mick, during the late '80's - early '90's era when all things basketball temporarily infiltrated mainstream culture.

Can't see it working in the bay these days tbh.

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned before but the 'You fat b*stard, You fat.....' chant that we sing from an opponents goal kick sounds so rubbish.  I don't know why we started signing this one but personally I think it sounds cheap and nasty.  It sounds even worse when you listen to it on television.

I love all of our songs and chants but this one I really can't stand.  Does anyone else feel the same way about it?

100% Agreed

As for us marinators we need to cheer for our boys not whisper to each other!
Tomorrow night will be the first game I can attend due to work etc but in watching us the past few weeks on tv something has happened to our fan base since last year! we have no voice!
hopefully my drunken loud voice will gee you all up tomorrow night!

Thats just because it's the start of the season, come second half support at home games will more than double and as it cones too crunch time of season fan's will get more passionate and find there voice.

ohhhh central coaaasssssstttt (Ohhhh central coaassssttttttt)
ohhhh central coaaasssssttttt (ohhhhh central coaassssssssst)
say ohhh central coasssttttttt (ohhhhh central coasssttttttttt)
you know its the yellow (you know it's the yellow)
We love the most (We love the most)
Ohhh central coassssssstttttt (ohhh central coasssssttttt)

Call and repeat type chant, easy to remember, can sub different words in easy enough, sound's good.

I also love the flute song, paycheck song and sackwack song. Get them firing tonight imo see how they go.

Loved the clapping/jumping chant we did tonight towards the end, im sure it looked great too.

Also, loved the "are you watching Newcastle?"

and ofcourse the epic "We all follow a yellow football team/ole ole/central coast mariners" which lasted for at least 15 minutes.

Done well last night. Looked like the bay was a little down on number's from last week, but the noise and vibe coming out was much better, top effort. Few chant's i couldn't quite catch onto though (not sure if half people singing new words either hahahah)

Fantastic effort from the bay last night.
Looked to be less people than last week, but there was defiantley more noise.
Well done.

Agreed. I thought the numbers were good. Everyone was compact and standing. It looked to me that there were more numbers last night than the game against Melbourne. Any talk about the demise of the Marinators is premature.
