ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

It cant hurt that both Monty and Ange know his ability and hopefully they will watch on how he goes and maybe make an offer down the track.
Love to see him succeed as much as the next CCM fan but thats a hell of a stretch. Still Monty might be in a decent position to put in a good word for him around the traps especially if its at League 1 / Championship level. That plus a good showing in SPL might hold some weight.

Nisbet confirmed (90%) to Ross County

Bit of an odd one. Looks a bit like last offer left on the table tbh.

Effectively it's the 11th team in a 2 team comp.

Hopefully he shines immediately and gets a January move to the championship or maybe Holland or Belgium. If the team struggles then the foreigners will be scapegoated and his euro career will be shot (maybe not shot but definitely going backwards).

Belgium is below SPL tbh. What people are forgetting is once people actually see Niz play....all the height bullshit goes out the window. The boy is minimum Championship level, I think he is good enough for the EPL in a lower level team.

Scotland has 2 teams. The rest is probably on par with the lower tier euro leagues. There's a lot better technical players in Belgium than the cloggers in the Scottish leagues.

Nothing to do with height, the fact is he is not Scottish will see him (and any other foreigner) carry the can for the team.

I think he is definitely championship level, which is why RC is a weird choice. Hopefully the drawn out saga hasn't marked his card and he can get a move in the next window after a good showing.

Following the footsteps of Keanu Baccus by the looks, he played consistently for Ross County did well which kept him in the Socceroos.

He seems to be fitting straight into Baccus' old role too.
