ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. How many scholarships can we have max?no they don’t
We have room. Club is hoping for 2 more players. One defender and one attacker.Do we have room for that? I thought we'd filled our roster already
I’m not sure exactly, we had quite a few under Monty from memory. How many scholarships can we have max?
We could do with another CB and a poacher, especially if rumours of DWH departure are true.We have room. Club is hoping for 2 more players. One defender and one attacker.
I'll sit on the bench not playing for far less than DWHWe could do with another CB and a poacher, especially if rumours of DWH departure are true.

I do feel a bit sorry for him, never really got a proper go, who knows why. Maybe his agent f**ked his contract up, maybe not in form, maybe not physical enough, maybe we just had better players based on current form.Pretty sure he’s gone. Unsighted at training for over a week now
Got an injury straight after he got hereI was pleased when DWH was announced as I thought there was definitely a footballer in there - thought so from his first ever AL game (remember his debut clearly).
But he never clicked with us. Didn't get a lot of chances but never looked remotely at the races. I wonder if he'd had an injury and had lost his pace because that was his main strength, plus his one-on-one shooting. We never saw that here.
Injured his ankle almost immediately after arriving, Monty really rated him and showed faith as much he could.I was pleased when DWH was announced as I thought there was definitely a footballer in there - thought so from his first ever AL game (remember his debut clearly).

My main issue with that is none of our strikers did. If you don’t fire and others are that’s one thing but Kuol, Reec and DWH all struggled yet he got the least faith of anyone. And that’s with Reec being a loan not even owned by us. Disappointing it turned out the way it did,Didn't get a lot of chances but never looked remotely at the races.
That was the most impressive part of everything we achieved last season. We won it all without a prolific striker. None of them got going or found any level of consistency in the final 3rd. Luckily the goals were shared around and Tulio banged a few before he left and Torres picked up the slack once Jacko got his hands on him. I personally think Eddy is most likely of to be prolific this season with Alfie joining and being much fitter. My main issue with that is none of our strikers did.
