I should probably be less cynical, I was very disappointed in the lack of effort at the tail end of his final season with us, it very much looked like he was banking cash for little output. I hope he has more enthusiasm for a coaching role and doesn't see it as his only remaining option to draw a wage.

I also don’t think Monty would have him back if he was lazy. Not a chance.

Considering he was on pretty much minimum wage here, he wasn’t here to bank cash. Wanted to play, body got the better of him.
