ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!
If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.
ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.
- You win some. You lose more.
Love it, we would like to do more simple message banners this season and I’d love to do something funny like thatTangential, but if we ever need a Macarthur tifo, can’t go past the gambling slogans
- Imagine where you could be playing instead.

Another tifo for Macarthur could be just one giant yellow card.
Maybe with a dollar sign on it?
Surely every Mariners fan buys fake money. First yellow card, everyone launches the money in the air. Fun!And a snake
On a long team bus ride, heading to a game night,
I met up with a player; we were both too tired to sleep.
So we took turns a-talking 'bout the season and the struggles,
'Til he shared his secret with me, and began to speak.
He said, "Son, I've made a life out of getting yellow cards,
By knowing when to argue, and when to foul too hard.
And if you don't mind me saying, I can see you're out of luck.
For a yellow card is crucial, if you wanna make a buck."
So I handed him my drink and he took a sip of whiskey,
Then he bummed a cigarette and asked me for a light.
And the bus grew quiet, and his face lost all expression.
He said, "If you're gonna play the game, boy, you gotta learn to play it right."
You got to know when to argue, know when to tackle,
Know when to trip them up, and know when to get that card.
'Cause there's a payday waiting for every yellow that you earn.
There'll be time enough for counting when the match is done.
Every player knows that the secret to surviving
Is knowing who to foul and knowing who to cheat.
'Cause every game's a winner and every game's a loser,
And the best that you can hope for is to play it to the beat.
And when he finished speaking, he turned back toward the window,
Crushed out his cigarette and faded off to sleep.
And somewhere in the distance, the ref blew his whistle.
But in his final words, I found an ace that I could keep.
You got to know when to argue, know when to tackle,
Know when to trip them up, and know when to get that card.
'Cause there's a payday waiting for every yellow that you earn.
There'll be time enough for counting when the match is done.
Replace "the world" with "Australia's" and that'd be a good one.As I once said on the Songs and Chants thread, a song mainly done by Arsenal but also one or two other English clubs would translate well to the Mariners:
And it was Ma - ri - ners
Mariners FC
By far the greatest team
The world has ever seen
And it was Ma - ri - ners etc
Sounds great and very easy to learn.
