ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

The Socceroos thread.

Not sure how I feel about this.
I'm a bit the same - but if the awful Middle East problems continue or escalate between now and 31/12/2024 when the decision will be made then Saudi Arabia may not be an option.

Another argument would be to include Eden Park as well. That way OFC will actually host part of a Men's World Cup. If we want investment in Rectangular stadiums we really should join this. If you included NZ you would have 9 existing stadiums.

Singapore National
National Stadium Malaysia
Jakarta International Stadium
Stadion Gelora Bung Tomo
Eden Park
Perth (Rectangular Mode)
Lang Park
Homebush
Sydney Football Stadium

An Adelaide Rectangular Stadium would need to be built
Melbourne Rectangular Stadium would need to be extended to 45000 as per its foundations.
The proposed (and funded to 30,000) new Canberra stadium would have to be increased from 30,000 to 45,000

and then 2 of the following 3 (you would imagine the first one and permanent seats for the second would be supported by the NRL)

1) Penrith Stadium expanded to 45,000 in line with the 3 cities strategy
2) Newcastle would need to be expanded either by temp or permanent stands from 34,000 to 45,000
3) Sunshine Coast Stadium upgraded - plus temporary stands

There is no way they consider that for an event thats years away. At most FIFA would look to take it away maybe a year or two out if it's still chaos.

Except it is one of technical requirements that they have to consider. Of course money is the greatest technical requirement when FIFA is concerned.
