hmmmmm talk about a double Judas to both old firm clubs, but whatever the case, i wouldnt know i havent been following his career since he left celtic, never really liked him anyway when he was at celtic, was always overshadowed by Vennegoor of Hesselink and McDonald took over from him quite nicely IMO. Probably would be a bad move for rangers if this eventuated, but if they buy a dud im not going to complain

Looks like Butcher is going to be the Jambos assistant manager. all I can say is good luck to them in the hope of turning around last season they are going to need it IMO they just need to get rid of that crazy Lithuanian owner

F**K I thought he would have given up the Scotland job when he joined Hearts.

Re the Lithuanian guy he's a bit of a nutter.He's got the money and Hearts are potentially a big club by Scottish standards but he just f**ks managers and coaches around so much.

If he went about things the right way Hearts would be the biggest club outside the old firm and would play to full houses every week.

Yes but the population of Edinburgh is only about 450,000.Glasgows official population these days is about 630,000 but that is misleading due to succesive boundary changes making the city area smaller.The population in 1961 was over a million.There are thousands of soap dodgers living beyond the city boundarys.
Also after the 2nd World War a number of new towns were build around the country to take the over spill of soap dodgers out of Glasgow so they could clear out the slum areas like the Gorbals.
As a result the rest of the country has been infested with soap dodgers who travel every week to follow their teams.
So there you go skilbeck a wee history lesson for ye!

Oh and by the way I'm married to the daughter of a soap dodger frae the Gorbals so don't be giving me any lip or........... glesga kiss!
