The club announcements that they already have a shortlist under active consideration.

Yep. Seems Richard’s comments were pasted in the middle of Monty’s farewell, and then again posted underneath in Rich’s statement…

You’re on the money for the first 4. I’m not sure they’ll announce a new coach by Friday. I obviously hope they’ve got it sorted asap. The club article probably would’ve said “we’ll be making an announcement on the new coach soon” etc
Whereas it gave the vibe they’re doing their absolute due diligence to get it right. Which I can respect. But i also want us to give Asia a red hot crack because there’s a big chance to go far in the afc cup.
Abbas should be in consideration if not front runner if they give him a game or two, IMO.
