Sorry, it is me, but I went there to set them straight after reading some annoying disparagements of Monty and the AL. I have said several times on there that we'd much prefer he didn't go but if he does... I'm not having them badmouth him.

Did the same on the Celtic boards when Ange was appointed - those were some lively discussions. I got banned once.

Would they seriously prefer someone who wanted the job because he was asked to leave elsewhere [like so many over there] as opposed to one who will showcase his ability with them and will be sorely missed here. Well done, having watched a bit of the SPL the last few years following the Aussie players and Ange I must admit it is a pretty boring comp and the top 4 A league teams each season would be more than competitive.

I doubt many of them have even watched an A League game, I'm sure Ziggy didn't have the same effect of SPL fans following him when he moved to Oz.
