ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

I would like to see the winner of the member badge draw get to train the team and run the match day squad.

Bonus if you win on an AFC week.

Or we could do a guest coach arrangement like the NSL did with players. Bobby Charlton and Kevin Keegan at Blacktown back in the day. We could get hiddink or mourinho for a few games ????

I'm Ben Cahn and so's my wife! I'm clueless, holding off on announcing Cahn until after the cup matches would make sense though. Big decision.

It won't be Cahn unfortunately, he want's and deserves the job.

The last point not so crucial to the current owner. We have a current churn and burn policy bringing in players when they are seventeen and eighteen from around the country, pressure testing them in NPL, and signing the very few that progress, or selling them overseas early.

Those who start out in the academy from a younger age aren’t getting a look in. Every single one of our 2004 born academy crop are no longer at the club.

Not making judgement on this. This is just the current situation.

Unfortunately true.

Lots of imagining going on.

I'd imagine Simmo has his head screwed on enough and sufficient influence for us not to miss out on a coach due to a short delay.

You'd have imagined so....

So I guess following the above posts the favourites would be Abbas and Talay. If this is so it could be a lot worse.

I worry if it is Talay and he is successful SFC will offer him the world at the end of the season.
I cannot understand why they have not given Corica the boot and signed him already. It would be a popular decision for a lot of their fans.

3rd option "it could be a lot worse"

Just watched Abbas interviewed by Malaysian media.... he is miles away from where he needs to be.

So if Jimmy is right and the club are playing f**kwits......Abbas and Cahn are not it......who the hell is going to improve us?
