ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

New coach - now we know

I'm looking forward to the headlines when we win games, such as The Wrath of Cahn, or Obi one - nil Ben Kenobi

As the last NPL team left in the Australia Cup (Knights), Cahn will deservedly get a positive spin in the media, raising his coaching profile, & asking price.

I watched him training at pluim park several times. Not even state league standard. He had a cross lobbed into the box which required a simple header to nod it in from 3 yrds out, he somehow misjudged it and it landed on the top of his head and went backwards out of the box. The look on Matty Simon's face was one of bemusement.
I remember his debut when he stood motionless on the edge of the third... and then was unable to get to the far post for a tap in, despite his pace.

If he'd had just the tiniest clue about reading a football match, he would've jogged towards the far post and been lurking when that cross came in.

Instead, he lurched crazily out of his ball-watching stasis... didn't get close... then shrugged in frustration that no-one realised he wanted the ball played back to the edge of the third for him to perform some magic trick from 30 metres with most of the opposition between him and the goal.

He may have been the fastest man ever but it's impossible to respect such a fool. And not just a fool... an arrogant prick who has no insight into why he is so crap. Blending arrogance with incompetence is just the worst.

I couldn’t forgive turning up with the fitness of an all age player in preseason. You’re already starting at a technical handicap so surely you make the most of what is in your control and turn up physically sharp and ready to go? Nope. Sweating bullets in a night game against a local all stars team after a few runs. If you’re going to be a one trick pony people want to see the trick..

FWIU he wanted to nick off to Qatar for the WC for a month in some sort of temporary role, then copped the arse when the club said no, you have an NPL campaign to focus on.

If that’s the truth, he is definitely not the sort of character to lead our first team, or any other CCM team for that matter.

To be fair that’s how Cummings starts his seasons as well. He turned up for the australia cup match last year like he’d spent the off-season at the buffet.
