Breeze was Shithouse tonight. How the F*ck do we get those reds and they hack our guys to bits and get SFA.
Great atmosphere, great game. Would loved to have seen what the outcome would have been with a full team left on the pitch......

Vuka did not need to do what he did and the hard thing is I was sitting side on and in line so I can't comment on the actual handball but what I will say is Breeze had to be sure it was done on purpose and on top of that he had to take into account the conditions - Wet pitch with a skipping ball etc.
I did not see what the last red was - I can only assume its a Hand Ball....

I heard that Matthew Breeze was going to wear an 'alternate' uniform tonight:

Was a clear handball by Danny but no "clear goal scoring opportunity" therefore, a yellow at best.
After 20 mins and Breeze's inept cheating, the game was killed. V proud of the shift the boys put in though.

Oh and remember in round 1 when Heffernan smashed a Sydney player on purpose in the box and on total football just said "that's football" I'm sure he was pretty proud of himself don't you? He had Karma coming to him for that. Unlucky Heff, that's football

Agreed, the game sucks sometimes but the FFA need to sort out the refs (and AR's) they risk ruining all the progress to date for the game

I'm not convinced it came off that 2nd arm, I'll have a look again. Popovic should have been sent for the foul on Simon, and how Brosque only had one yellow card astounds me.

Barring the result, that was probably the greatest game of football i've ever seen.
Breeze was absolutely shite tonight. I didn't know that accidental handball outside the area with no attackers around and the ball heading away from goal was a red card. F*cking muppet! What does it take for robertson to get carded, he should have about four clear fouls worthy of a yellow card.
It's amazing really how a season can change so quick. 15 minutes in, 2-0 up and Lyall is probably looking up a travel agents number to book tickets for Asia.
Then Breeze stamps his authority and the game finishes 5-4 with 8 Mariners up against 12 people (11 plus Breeze) from Sydney.
Now where only 3 points clear, our first choice keeper suspended, Kwasnik will miss a game, Aloisi and Hutchinson both suffering injuries and Heff being stretchered off the field after a tackle from that cheating c*nt Robertson.
The news will only get worse during the wekk as well. We'll find out the full extent of the injuries, the lengths of the suspensions and the FFA's ruling over the pitch invasion after the whistle.

Simply the best game in A-League hostory. We lost it because of Danny. I have no problem with the red. However, no doubt that Breeze was a disgrace.
Magnificent effort from our boys. I feel sick in the guts and won't sleep a wink tonight.
Still, I firmly believe with be Premiers and champions after tonight's performance.
There are three reasons why we'll win the league, Mile, Tommy and Johnny.
Mile and Tommy were simply magnificent tonight and Johnny will score evry week.
Chin up boys and girls. I have never been more certain we'll win the league than tonight.
One last word, the atmosphere and crowd was unbelievable this evening. Congratulations to every single yellow supporter. In three or four years time that will be our average season crowd.
