Though Aloisi dominated, he threw one or two easy goals away through being greedy. Good win & great 1st half.
ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!
If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.
ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

I wonder if that's because Verbeek and co. were at the game.
you can safely say we are now in the top 4, its just a question of where... as for finishing 1st i think we need to win 3 more gamesdjebella said:OK I've done the sums and worked out the worst case scenarios.
To 100% guarantee a spot in the final four we need 5 more points. To 100% guarantee the premiership we need 10 points.

shipwreck said:Hate to start any form of speculation about a rift in the mariners camp....but did anyone else notice how Greg Owens was basically the only Mariner not to congratulate Aloisi on his goal, he practically ran straight passed him with his head down, the theory could further be supported by Aloisi's almost outspoken comment singling Owens out for missing the goal last week at the death against Queensland?...
I wasnt going to mention anything but then i saw this photo on the mariners website which sort of sums it up, could there be tension between these two?

grecquemariner said:What a great game to watch. Both teams looked confident on the ball and there was little giving the ball away. Just wonderful skill filled football. Is anyone else concerned that so many of our players have yellow cards with only 5 matches till the finals. Clark 18, Heffernan 60, Hutchinson 76, Vidmar 76, Petrovski 81, Aloisi 86. Both our strikers, two major defenders, a pivital midfielder and a great cover for boogs. If they all pick up another in the next few games and lets face it sash and viddy are definatly going to then we might have a few hairy games ahead of us. Please be more careful guys we are heading into the final stages of winning the league we dont want to field the grandfinal with a reserve team. I can just see it now lol

I have absolutly no doubt that we could beat Sydney with this team but i dont know about the others. No offence to these guys in any way shape or form and i would go support anyone who wore the yellow and navy but i would rather go in with our strongest team.
Solution: Anyone on a yellow in round 19 20 21, HACK THE BONE!!!!! ARRRRRRRRRGGGGGGG.
