Nah don’t see that happening, smith will be the backup LB and faz to start LB and would be backup CB if absolutely necessary, which means mcgarry is gone, also frees up a visa spot, especially if rumours are we’ve got a Brazilian fullback

I thought Smith did OK in attacking roles when with us so maybe his versatility has played a part and he is a Beni replacement so you don't have him or Faz getting splinters.
