ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Their other option is a Japanese kid valued at £400k. If we got near that for SS its a win.
That sort of money or more isnt off the table for SS if he keeps performing. We've seen far less complete younger players going OS for decent sums this season and shouldnt take a backwards step now. We can still be a good value market without being taken advantage of.

Are Hearts a "rich" club in terms of finances? Obviously not Celtic rich, but maybe approach them saying invest in our club as a partner and they can have first pick of players for a reasonable price. Sets up a pathway to Europe for our guys and gives them the choice of good up and coming aussie players without major competition for their services.

We seem so much smarter now, I have a feeling we might be using the Jambos to up the ante on Sammy. I'm sure there are others interested and as someone mentioned the Jambos are not great in the front third and therefore maybe they are not a great fit for him. Mont and Serge will be giving these kids good advice on where to go, they don't want to see them fail and of course we have a vested interest they don't either.

I would love to know the truth of this situation, as it just seems to go against the mantra that the club espouses. Lachie has consistently been one of the best performers in our academy over the past two or three seasons, so letting him go make no sense at all imo.
Outbid?

Does anyone here actually know what happened even if you can't say?

Seems like all we have is speculation so I'm reluctant to assume too much
