Your model doesn't explain how I can hold views more to the right of yours when I have never had a social media account. I dont listen to 2GB, or watch Sky. I just read the newspapers online and they range from the lefty Guardian, SMH to the more conservative The Australian. I also read the ABC news website-you know, the one that apparently has never had a left wing bias [cough cough ..whispers "Philli[p Adams"].

I still dont understand how you explain extreme left wing deviation from the 'default centre' .

Here was a newspaper article with a senior UK police representative, not some football hooligan, who says that after discussing the issues with both sides, that the solution is to acknowledge the casuses of the protests.

I don't know the ABC is littered with ex Sky journos (or should I say mouthpieces) and their board is now more conservative. I will give you that the Guardian is definitely left leaning but the ABC has left their neutrality far behind.

I'd love to get a newsreader reading the news rather than offering opinions.

Did an experiment, opened 3 new accounts on #twitter. First two I followed liked and re-posted all pro #KamalaHarris posts, both accounts were flagged and 'labeled', whatever that means, within 3 days. On the third account I did the same thing but with #trump posts, no flag, no label and now that account has 100s of followers that as far as I can tell are bot or porn accounts. Obviously you are reading this on masto so you know but imagine the people that don't know and think #twitter innocuous

And when I say far right protest it was 4 blokes, and when I say counter protest it was hundreds and hundreds of people.
You have to look closely, but the 4 blokes are on the left hand picture, hiding behind the protective ring of police who are, suddenly, their best friends now.
