ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Miller and Bos balls were perfect for McTappin on what i saw which was only last 25 mins.

Yengi looks like he could be a perfect Arni striker. Powerful and fast so can play Arnie way and can add to arial threat if we need.

Team is changing and looks like perfect timing for those whose are ready.

Mat is probably lucky no one is seriously threatening his position but his experience and leadership will help guide this younger generation. Things look promising and Koul and Faz’s back pocket can be added in the future.

Bo played as left wing in the second half. In the first he played at LB with Goodwin in front of him. They didn't combine effectively at all. I see Bos as a LW rather than a LB. In fact a lot of the left side including Burgess seemed to be off in the first half.

Interesting. I was surprised but also not, to see BoS and Behich on the left. I think he could do it but he has been pretty good as LB. Good to have options. Certainly a talent

Maybe - but Goodwin and he do not work well together. He combined much better with Behich (albeit in a different position). I suspect that would also be the case if they swapped position and Behich played the LW role.

I wonder if Miller was a deliberate attacking choice by Arnie. I'd certainly regard Strain as the better defensive option.
Strain is playing at RM at St Mirren now. At RM he doesn't get in the squad - there are others that have missed out that are in front of him there.

It was a nice easy debut for Miller but we didn't see him under defensive pressure - which is the main part of the job. Hibs fans love him though so he must have lifted that part of his game.

Anyone know anything about the U23 match v Qatar last night?
Just watched a stream...

Was a bit unimpressed with that. A few did well enough as individuals but we didn't look much like a team - lots of poor passing and not much running in the final third.

Toure's goal was well taken and there were good performances from Neiuwenhof, Teague, Brooks and a couple of others. I wonder if the heat and pitch played a part - looked a tad bobbly.
