Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

tim cahill 90th minute winner for everton against blackburn

he is in sensational form at the moment

please, please stay healthy

Agree he is hitting form at the right time for club and country and is vital to Australia's world cup campaign.  However, yesterday's goal could have been scored by just about anyone, Yakubu did all the hard work.  Cahill has the players around him at Everton so isn't as heavily relied upon, where as with Australia he is the number 1 man (IMHO).  He's class though and can turn a game........just hurry up and get here World Cup FFS

"Just about anyone" would not have been in the right place at the right time to knock that in as Timmy so often is. The reason for his class is not his skill (which i am by no means taking away from here, the boy has skills) its his uncanny ability to get where he needs to be before his opposition or team mates.

We are not dangerous enough in front of goal for Timmy to be our #1 man. If we had a real #9 then Timmy's threat to other teams would rise exponentially. IMO our #1 man is the Schwarz. as we will be stopping a lot more shots than we make.

You forgot Tottenham Hotspur....charge the pricks interest for knocking us out of the cup

Portsmouth will pay Tottenham Hotspur 1m over the aborted transfer of a player who has never been near the home dressing room at White Hart Lane, while hundreds of small creditors will have to settle for a fraction of what they are owed

It is understood the club initially agreed a combined fee with Spurs for Younes Kaboul and the promising Bosnian goalkeeper, but agreed to a clause promising that if Begovic went elsewhere they would pay Spurs a 1m fee in compensation. When the club subsequently agreed to sell Begovic to Stoke City following a protracted negotiation, the 1m fee kicked in and was due to be paid by the end of last month. It makes up part of the 17.3m owed in current and future instalments on players including Sulley Muntari, Mike Willliamson and Nadir Belhadj.
