ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

yeah falling in love is a great anthem.
would need to hand the lyrics and just keep persisting before and after the game.
everyone in the ground will be singing it in no time at all.

Wise men say only fools rush in
but I can't help falling in love with you
Shall I stay
would it be a sin
If I can't help falling in love with you

Like a river flows surely to the sea
Darling so it goes
some things are meant to be
take my hand, take my whole life too
for I can't help falling in love with you

take my hand, take my whole life too

The first two verses of this song were sung at Suncorp last Friday. I have to say that I thought it sounded great.  I get chills thinking about the prospect of the whole of BlueTongue singing it one day. :vhappy:

I actually think the chances of that aren't as remote as one might think. It's a great song, very catchy, and the words are known by young and old (ok... mostly old). It would sound good in the Kendall pre-game.

If we sung it at every home game at the same point in time, eg when the players are walking out (suggestions for a more appropriate time??), then it would become part of our culture.

I loved the song, enjoyed singing it and can't wait to sing it again.

Yes, yes... other overseas clubs sing it, but lets get over that and make it our own before some other pissant Aussie club does.

A few footnotes... Only the first 2 verses were sung becasue I dont think anyone knew the words to the rest of the song... lol. There is no need to change any of the words to include the Mariners or the CC and lastly, it might get that annoying man on the mic to STFU before the game.

There was also an incident where a particular persons phone was going off with this ringtone during the 1 minute silence

Work is underway to have this song playing over the loud speakers before kick off at home games

Watch this space, and you can all buy me a beer if I can make it happen

That shouldn't set us back too much if we're all chipping in to buy you just the one beer.  ;)

I saw my mate, the other day,
He said to me, he'd seen the white Pele,
So I asked, "Who is he?"
He goes by the name of Adam Kwassie
Adam Kwassie, Adam Kwassie, goes by the name of Adam Kwassie,
Do do do do, do do do do, do do do do do, do do do do.

I'll sing it for a laugh.  :p

James, that chant the Japanese do must still be stuck in your head (you know the Nippon one?)

Adaptable to the Central Coast I should think?

not my fave, the two uses of 'central coast' in three lines could do with an edit, but meh, i sing it and will continue to do so.

good chant IMHO, worked well in brisbane

We try it at most home games, but it never takes off for some reason.

Considering they went with it for about half an hour straight, it's kinda hard to forget.  ;)

Could work here - never know until we try right??
