We are waiting for our host to allocate us more bandwidth again.
Glad to see you care ;)

Sup furnsy. I understand you guys' problem, I used up a month's worth of bandwith getting on the porn. So I added some more gigs, but then two Japanese chicks later and I was back to square one again.

JETS PLUNGE BACK INTO CRISIS STILL IN CRISIS

NEWCASTLE Jets remain in turmoil after owner Con Constantine's brinksmanship with a transfer bid for Joel Griffiths may have backfired.

The club did a dramatic U-turn on their interest in a record $1 million bid for star striker Griffiths from Chinese Super League side Beijing Guoan.

The strife-torn club originally announced the offer, admitting they wouldn't stand in the way of a player wanting to move on overseas.

But late yesterday afternoon they backflipped and said Griffiths was not for sale and they would rebuild a team around the star.

Last night though, Griffiths admitted HE was still interested in a move...and if the Jets were to stand in his way, he may need to renegotiate his new contract.

Griffiths just signed on as the club's marquee player from next season - but stands to earn considerably more in the Chinese league than at home in Australia.

"It is not dead and buried as far as I am concerned," he told the Newcastle Herald. "I am hearing so many rumours. That is why you cannot believe everything.

"I do not even think the big man [Constantine] knows if it is a closed case. I have heard otherwise. We will just have to see what happens."

He added: "If they do not sell me, we might have to renegotiate my contract."

It's the latest setback for Jets owner Con Constantine after a tumultuous week.

At the weekend's game against Perth Glory, he ordered security to take down fans' banners protesting against the Jets dismal defence of the Championship.

He later summoned supporters to his private box at the game and launched a tirade of abuse at them and threatened to throw one of the stadium balcony.

The FFA have now launched a probe into the incident.

Supporters now suspect the transfer bid for Joel Griffiths was deliberately leaked to distract attention away from the matchday incident.

Griffiths admits he has known of the possible deal for some time and was surprised and disappointed by the leak.

But Constantine is adamant the fans favourite will be staying at the club, ahead of the Asian Champions League campaign where they will face Beijing Guoan in the group stage

He insisted: "Joel Griffiths is not for sale. You have to understand that we have signed Joel for three seasons after this one.

"He is our captain and the jewel in our crown. We want to build a team around him."

he's what, 29? he doesn't even really have the option of sitting out the rest of it. the ink's still wet, so he's either basically stuck there for three years* or he's retiring.

*or until both parties agree to a sale price.

That's the sort of shit you'd be seeing in the Express if some forum-ites got their way about Mile. It's not a good place for the club or player to be.
