Nothing unpopular about it, at this point I don’t care if we signed the biggest wanker possible. I want a genuine goal threat leading our forward line.

He works off being fed chances. So he would be useless. Cumdingo on the other hand would do the hard yards.

Edmo tries to play the role Jacko wants (the deep lying forward/ quasi Harry Kane role) Kuol just cant, he is a pure poacher and needs to be on the shoulder of the last man.
We get the opportunity to dump both at the end of this season and I can see us taking it

What we need is a clinical goal scorer. Or a quality centre midfielder. Or an experienced GK. None of which Wales is.

In a team that is unbalanced towards wingers - Mauragis, Theo, doka, ngor (before the loan), faisel, the temu Ronnie.

Even Sasha, storm and de lima are utilised as wide options.

Lots of things cost us 2 points tonight and none of them was our decision to not sign Wales. He did 1 thing all night and then disappeared - hence he was hooked.

Agree with all of this except maybe that De Lima is used s a wide option. He often plays just behind the striker and is there to energise the press. I'd guess his output numbers are pretty high.

Some talk about adding Garang is interesting. I don't think he would improve us too much. Our midfield is the gaping hole which impacts everything in front of it and behind it. We could play two in the centre because we had Max and Nisbet. Two unbelievable engines with a desire to get the ball forward. I watched Steele a number of times last night move from space towards his CB into a crowded area. CB's lumping it forward or passing across the back because our midfield is so static. We just don't have the players to perform in this system.

No more than two wins in a row and four consecutive draws pretty much tells us where we're at.

Tappy is a long way off coming back, I think? Not this season, I was thinking well into next…
