Watching roar vs Perth. Can’t believe how bad the surface at Suncorp is. Players slipping everywhere.
Can’t work out how ivanovic is a professional player.
And bozanic making it look better and better a decision to get rid of him. Completely ineffective.

Balard's performances lifted from literally the game that Bozanic got dropped and he hasn't stopped improving since. It doesn't matter how good or poor Boz is now tbh, because the decision to get rid of him is 100% justified by the fact that it directly led to us having the best central midfield pairing in the A League for the last 12 months (although not everyone has cottoned on yet).

Disagree slightly on this.
Max was up and down that first 6 months when he replaced boz, he didn’t immediately hit his potential. It took him a while to grow into the role and become the player he is developing into.

Don't think we are disagreeing too much. Wasn't suggesting Max immediately became the player he is now. But he was a better and more confident player without Bozanic alongside him. And we won 8 and drew 2 (including the 10 man draw v WSW) of the next 11 once Oli was dropped, playing good football and scoring lots of goals, and I think Max and Niz's contribution to that run was vastly underrated.

Only weaker in theory. To me the fact Aloisi has Mileusnic playing well says a lot for his ability as a coach.
Watching their confidence on the ball makes me wonder how much work on the ball we do at training. Given we're playing Mulveyball again.

I haven’t rated Adelaide this season yet and a bit like the Nix in having a charmed start. Yes agree the Roar are looking very good given they also had two injury subs in the first half hour.
