Results all locked away. Wanderers being cute on Twitter thinking they can hold top spot they currently have - only way they can is if CCM v SYD is washed out with no points awarded. Which has happened to us before if I recall LOL.

Put simply it's us v Sydney for the title, was a 2-all draw just before Christmas but a win is what we need, a draw hands them the premiership.

If we win that - Melbourne City is the opponent on Grand Final day, they're one clear of Brisbane who are done for the year now.

“It’s never easy to leave people out of a team but ultimately it’s much nicer to be in a position where players will be left out. Good quality players and good quality people so it’s the old cliché – a nice headache to have,” Cahn said. With the possibility of Hyundai A-League players being deployed for both sides Cahn said that coaching in the FNYL Competition means that you often need to be dynamic in the approach to game day. - See more at: http://www.ccmariners.com.au/article/cahn--whyte-preview-youth-league-

So based on this, who can we expect to come back in? Petersen is already a NYL player, it would not be unreasonable to play Berry and Buhagier given they were part of the CCMA NPL2 squad in 2016. Bingham is 22 but has played and scored for the NYL this season, has had little game time in the 1st team but may be required in the Perth game so a run in NYL would be beneficial.

Bingham would be a must, Powell may play up front against Perth with Bingham on bench so the youth will need him as much as he needs them.

Anyone going to the game? I'm thinking about it.
I've never been to a game at Tuggerah before. Where do you park? The car park by the swimming pool and main building?

The parking is pretty good for Saturday afternoon kickoffs, drive as far down towards Soccer 5s entrance as you can get.

Put on your sunscreen and a hat and take a bottle of water. As Yoda said, don't park in front of the pool drive as close as you can to the field. You will see the cars

Posco and Faty both back on the park. Hopefully *fingers crossed* this means they're both in the first team vs Perth. I honestly think Posco has been what's missing from our back four.

As for the youth team it's a strong side. 2-all draw last time we played Sydney five rounds ago - I reckon we can do them one this time!

0-3 was the result, but the score line wasn't a fair reflection on the game. Was good to see Posco get 90 minutes under his belt, but he was a bit rusty after a long lay off.

Agree with Yoda, that score does not at all tell the story.

SFC score very early goal from a corner... Mariners dominate rest of first half but SFC mostly sit deep and manage to get through without conceding.

Second half more of the same until a frustrated and now tiring Mariners get two warning shots on the counter against the run of play. where SFC could have scored but didn't. Third time lucky though. An uncharacteristically loose ball and they pounce... 2 zip up and the Mariners press and cop an awful third.

They had zero luck today. Played a lot of great football and man for man consistently had the better of SFC across the park - except for their keeper - who unfortunately had a very good game. Football is a cruel cruel game at times. Don't believe the better side won. And to make it worse Sydney were dirty in the challenge and cynical. They got away with a lot, but otherwise mostly thought the ref was decent.

Thought Posc and Faty both did very well. Were running the show but we couldn't quite get that cutting edge we needed. Faty being subbed at 60 presumably for safety cost them though. 1 down and you don't really want to use a sub on switching Centrebacks if you can help it.

Also guessing Roy's red cost the youth the striker they needed.
