ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

f**k we are a poor side.

Take Owens and Clarkie out and you have Sherlock and Trifiro and 9 no hopers.

Thats about it really.

ps - SFC's No12 was just incredible, better than a few of their 1st teamers imho

Youth game was rather poor IMO and if it wasnt for Owens, Clark and O'Grady SFC would have had a goal fest.

No 12? The centre-back Haydar?

Or No 13? The midfielder Munro?

And yes, our NYL side would pwn a few HAL sides, including our own. Some good football played, although we did let the Mariners dominate a period after their equaliser.

Jaza,

Guy I was referring to is Dunning.

Extraordinary talent and if he played for Qld he would already be in the 1st team

#11 Danning?

He's not up to the first team yet. He's very quick (VERY quick!), but that's about it. Still takes the wrong option a lot of times, and finds himself isolated.

He's a development player. He's also only 17. He'll be phased in to the first-team slowly next year, but will still be mostly NYL. It's the right option for now.

Considering how successful the Sydney team has been, I thought our guys made quite a game of it. They've certainly improved since the start of the season - credit to Alex Tobin for that.

But NYL is definitely not as even as the A-League. The talent is not spread evenly.

At home to Perth in the NYL at Budgie on Saturday 3rd Jan.

10.30am KO and gates open at 9.30 (oh and its free too).

IMHO Budgie's ground shits all over Pluim and I will be there.

(Hope the bar is open too)

Half time

Mariners 2 Jnr Scum 2 (was up 2-0)

(Smith, Mrdja)

Mrdja smacked the goal so hard with his left boot that it busted and he had to get a new one. The boot went flying over the goal almost quicker than the ball went in the back of the net!  :piralaugh:  :pirashoot:  :pirate:

Brady Smith is one gun player when he keeps his head about him.
