ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!
If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.
ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.
The blokes great one on one, he just seems to be forgetting the other 15 under his coachingA lot has been on Staj....
First half he was by himself on the left and we kept on going right.Kuol apart from one shot has had little impact.Content to lay the ball off .TBF has not been in any positions to do much.
Also 4th in 2.Meh. Its a point away. Should have been 3. Next.
a 6 nil white wash by the roar in 9 days . just to make it officalWell everyone was shouting for Kuol to start, he did.
Everyone was shouting for Nisbet to start, he did too.
We are still unconvincing, what next?
I'm just beginning to wonder how much of the early season good work was actually on him too. He's doing very well to throw away all that workA lot has been on Staj....
Maybe you would prefer Okon, or Mulvey.I'm just beginning to wonder how much of the early season good work was actually on him too. He's doing very well to throw away all that work
Hopefully the players have enough about themselves to keep in the finals.
I 100% get thisVictory clearly let us have the ball as a distinct tactic, and we’re very ready to pounce when we eventually force a pass not there.
Letting us have the ball backfired when we scored, but without that goal they mentally had a game plan knowing if we didn’t capitalise that we would start to doubt ourselves and our ability to keep making good passes and flowing attack.
They made us stale.
All our best games have been against teams wanting to play hard with us and Nizzy, Olli stealing the ball and quickly hitting the counter.
This has more flow and you don’t overthink trying to move from one part of the pitch to the next.
It sounds stupid but like the teams that are now working us out, I think we need to let teams into the game more and give them that false sense of security that teams keep doing to us, so we can steal the ball and counter rather than pass from side to side for 5 minutes while they set their defence strong.
Pretty much almost every of the last 6 games are doing to us, what we did to them in the first 7/10 games.
Absolute rubbish, worst game I’ve watched for a long time and if I was a neutral I would have changed the channel. It looked like last against second last it was that dire. The bubble has burst and we will be very lucky to make the six as plenty of teams have games on us and are hitting their stride. I’m now adjusting my expectations to glad we didn’t get the spoon and if by some miracle we start winning again then maybe finals.
Can not believe we have drawn twice with the worst Victory team in their history, just embarrassing and we don’t deserve 2nd spot but we will not be there for long. Shame the good feelings couldn’t last all season.
