ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Not a great scoreline (and a very biased match report from Sydney FC).

From Sydney’s socials it looks like Paull/Herrington at CB and they were up against a full strength Sydney attack so I wouldn’t read too much into the scoreline

Maybe sounded like we didn't play a full strength team but still a concern that we did concede 6

Adding I doubt sydney would be happy conceding three either so it did sound like it was very open which pre season games generally can do

Yeah not great but it does look like we fielded a weaker side. Wonder if our midfield was disrupted too

Sydney article mentions 2 mistakes from our keeper.

I don’t doubt they dominated based on the substitutions starting in the 30th minute and disrupting the game every 10/15 minutes.

Plus letting opposition control was often Jackson’s tactics last year, but doesn’t really work with mix of players coming back from injury, Acadamy and giving game minutes.

Hopefully will give them and others a false sense of security and we can settle on a strongest starting 11 and a confident and comfortable game plan come 18/10.
