Did he know that, we all do.No football club ever missed out on a final or a premiership and had its fans thankful for not spending all its resources to win a competition.
Sport is a business yes, but its not one you make money from.
ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!
If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.
ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

How did his lad go in the academy? Is he likely to achieve his ambitions? I havent followed it and am genuinely curiousHe runs gyms to make lots of money, this losing money no matter what you do is against his business acumen in my opinion. To constantly make some money or even break even in Oz every year is pretty much impossible.
Lots of development needed I think is how you'd put it.How did his lad go in the academy? Is he likely to achieve his ambitions? I havent followed it and am genuinely curious
He’s in Portugal now.Lots of development needed I think is how you'd put it.
Few injuries too
Fantastic-who is he playing for? He’s in Portugal now.
Not sure he’s been signed anywhere yet, was doing a heap of trials.Fantastic-who is he playing for?
We all know theoretically that a football club owner likely loses some money and perhaps some more than that each and every season. That said, it might be a bit different when the theory becomes reality and you are the one cutting cheques…Did he know that, we all do.
Well, no more players until January at minimum then.Might wanna hurry up as I think the registration window slams shut on Wednesday.
I would expect these players to play some part (at least part of a match day squad) with the exception of Sasha given the mid week games, injuries, dips in form, player moves in January. We have 18 full contract senior players and then all the scholarship lads (5-6 of them maybe more who knows)
From memory the squad limit for the league is 21. So we have 3 spots left by reckoning.
New coach could bring in a couple of their own players they like or they could run with the 18 and the scholars like Monty did.
Oh ofcourse, and the quality of our squad isn’t to be scoffed at. Those scholar players are high potential players too.I would expect these players to play some part (at least part of a match day squad) with the exception of Sasha given the mid week games, injuries, dips in form, player moves in January.
Vukovic, Warshawsky, Peraic-Cullen, Farrell, Millard, Kaltak, Paull, Windust, Larson, Hall, Roux, Doka, Kuzevski, Arnold, Balard, Nisbet, Wilson, Tapp, Steele, Kasalovic, Tulio, Smith, Duarte, Di Pizio, Kuol, Torres, Reec, Brandtman, Wenzell-Halls, Theoharous, Hammond.
I wonder how many on that list will go to the land of Haggis in JanuaryI would expect these players to play some part (at least part of a match day squad) with the exception of Sasha given the mid week games, injuries, dips in form, player moves in January.

Will depend on a few things, where Hibs have some deficiencies and also how much cash they have to splash. I’m sure Peil will not be doing mates rates for Monty.I wonder how many on that list will go to the land of Haggis in January
If they are contracted they can’t just go without the required $$$. Not sure Monty will strip us bare to be honest.Possibles Niz, Tulio, Kaltak.
I think he'll be looking for Balard as well, who I'm expecting to have a huge season.Possibles Niz, Tulio, Kaltak.
Maybe some loan swaps? If they are contracted they can’t just go without the required $$$. Not sure Monty will strip us bare to be honest.
