ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

If he stays in Australia, he will finish up at one of the big 4 city clubs,
Why? If you’re reasoning is that we might someday not be able to afford him, I just think that’s wrong..
He said himself he’ll only go overseas if it’s a very good regular play time offer. We have also proven in recent seasons we will reward our best players with improved contracts in the meantime. He’s our most consistent player and definitely top 5 mids in the country. So unless the club completely shit the bed with his contract, I refuse to believe he will go to another aleague side. Nizzy is a pure coastie the same as Fazz and Steely, in my eyes anyway..

Money talks. We haven't got any. For the younger generation loyalty is a much shorter rope. Besides he's done his time with us, I wouldn't begrudge him a move to a bigger club even if it is in Oz. Yes I'd hate it but he deserves it. The list is long of players we should have retained but for money.

Not sure why you would say we have no money. Have received transfer fees for Cummings, Triantis, McGarry, Tulio, Sammy and others over the past year plus upcoming fees probably for Faz and Torres.
I would hate to see Niz go to Macarthur for no fee then have them onsell him in Jan for a big fee.

We've been told the fees on all those players were much less than people expect and the club is running in the red constantly. Any time we hear from Peil is to tell us about how the club is struggling financially.
