I think the best plan to beat the press is to stop trying to beat the press. Give them the credit they deserve and respect the quality of that component of the game, and frustrate the daylights out of them by playing long ball and nullifying the press until they wear themselves outrunning after nothing.

We are turning into a second half team - playing long ball, saving our energy while they waste theirs is actually a great plan. But it takes humility to understand their press is amazing and we don’t handle it well.

Finals are a different beast. Sydney had their first win of the season against Macarthur last weekend. No reason why we can't have our first win against them this season on Friday.

Barely got 25k vs Citeh last year. So there's no reason vs a 'small' team we shouldn't get it at home.
