Nothing to surprising in those announcements. All of them would have cost a lot of $$$ and didn’t perform at all. I guess a few were on loan but goes to show loan deals are not always great as the player isn’t all that committed.

Yeah I'm genuinely disappointed in Arnie's selections.
I think he thinks that if he changes too much he *admits* he's gotten it wrong to this point, and if this selection does get us through he'll be vindicated.

I assume Arnie will move on after his contract is up, and after overlooking important IN-FORM weapons at such a critical time, I wouldn't have it any other way.

JC was the most prolific striker in the league in the last third of the season, and added 9 assists to his goals. Not even a phone call, even to discuss why no selection this time. Weak.

True, but if that’s the line you’re taking and assuming Redders never gets on then we should be taking a younger keeper like Glover or Gauci for succession planning. Birraz is younger (and better) than Redmayne anyway if you’re looking at the shorter term.

Absolutely it’s terrible but the otherside of the argument is one less tracksuit to buy as he’s already got one. That is literally the i reason to take him
