ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Hey folks, we're back in the studio this afternoon to catch up on our Sydney away trip, have a look at our upcoming fixtures, and chat with Dan Bouman about his start to life at the Mariners.
As always, feel free to fire through your questions/comments/feedback/compliments!

Id like to find out about his Dutch connection, a little about his time in the groningen (and Dutch) youth system.

Also, ask him where he feels the biggest weakness is in his game is. I genuinely want to see introspectively where he thinks he needs to improve.

Ps big fan of what I've seen from him this year

Thoughts on the nickname of 'Hughie' given by Matt Simon? Will we see a Hugh Bowman hand gesture for a goal celebration?

We've seen you play up top, is this your preferred position?

Hi guys maybe not for this pod, but the next time you get Shaun in can you ask him;
1) Is Anton still involved in the Club and in what capacity?
2) Understanding limitations on what can be said and also that any buyer will not proceed until the whole A-League structure, broadcast deal and financial arrangements are in place. Do we still have serious potential buyers in the process or will we be going back almost to square one when all the above mentioned are sorted out.

Anton hosted the business gathering before the last home game so I`d say he`s still very much involved...

Anton is described as the sponsor of the academy too

Just a quick note on the ACL Qualification that Staj is talking about.

3 qualifiers are

1) 2020-2021 Premiers - Direct

2) 2021 FA Cup Winners - Qualifying round

3) TBD (2021 A-League Grand Final winners or 2020–21 A-League regular season runners-up) - Qualifying round

So theoretically you can win the Champions and potentially not qualify for the Asian Champions League

very interesting......a decision to be made on which is more important....winning a grand final (which Aussies love)....or coming second in the league.
Also, I thought I read somewhere that AFC rules stated only one qualifier from any knock-out competition per country....and they see the A league final as a knock out series (but I cant find anything specifically on that now).
