ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

If it's the game I'm thinking off (Musti's debut) that Perth game was at SFS. So technically we have done it away from home albeit in a game that was a home fixture.

Excellent bit of research btw

Good pick up.

What was the reason behind that one?

Monty’s at the wheel!

He’s also joining us on the show tonight ?

Questions? Comments? Drop them here ?

On our centre mids we haven’t had a defensive midfielder at the Mariners since Stensness. What are you trying to achieve in this position and how has the game evolved away from having defensive centre midfields? How does Max and Nizz fit what you are trying to achieve?

What is the incoming applications like to join our academy now compared to 3/4 years ago?

With our academy promotion success and our future of creating a world class system do you think we have the potential, volume and ability to run a secondary academy setup and add teams to NPL3 for example if we have an overflow of young talent.

Thanks guys and really enjoying all your podcasts again this year. Questions, is that our best 90 minute total performance since 2013? I cant remember such a complete performance from start to finish and with the chances created we could have won by 7 ,Wow What a performance!
Also the high pressing from start to finish what do you put that down to? (Fitness, playing at night, tactics or all of the above as that was a throwback to our first season where we were super fit with AndrewClark at the helm and just closed every team down right across the park with high pressing with our superior fitness). I for one absolutely loved it. Lastly, What is wrong with Jess VanStratten ? Did he lose Rudan’s latest USB that caused him to carry on like a complete and utter goose?

Long term goals for himself, eg coaching back in Europe?

Which other coach does he currently respect most because ability in the league? (None of the diplomatic crap either, I want a stand out).

Thanks for another great pod guys.

So fantastic to hear Monty. Interesting that he always considered Stensness as a centre back in the way he played and that he hates the defensive mentality.

Pete, looks like you introduced a new word into Monty’s vocabulary in “verticality”. He loved it!

Also might explain the fallout between Monty and Ollie whose preference was always to drop back between the CBs.
