ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Interesting that something would potentially emerge after Peil bailing. Were they in the picture when he was seeking co-investors? Do they just like docos with gratuitous mountain biking scenes?
There are some people with serious money that have real estate on the coast - even if their current primary residence is Sydney.

Do they know it’s a football team and not mountain biking team. Would you really know even if you watched the whole documentary

I half wonder whether interest was being held back while Rich was involved? Now he's gone the door is open? Speculating only of course

It's possible Rich was putting the price tag to high (I've heard rumors he did that with sponsors alienating some) or they didnt like him / what he was selling. The timing plus the puff piece for Alyssar and Shaun hanging around is curious.

I would love it to be true, but doubt it..... with only 500K coming in for media revenue, and say the club cost 8 million to run, between crowds, selling players and sponsors we need a lot.

Say 20 home games counting the ladies.... say net ticket price after GST and allowing for kids... say $15.00.

If we average 12K per game that 240K over the year at $ 15.00 thats 3.6 million ...

On current averages across the two teams the average is around maybe 5K @ 20 games or 100 K.

I guess a lot comes down to what it costs to run the team ,,,, its obvious we need bigger crowds ... how we achieve that largely comes down to the CEO and I guess APL.... my take is RP was upset with Shaun given the year we had last year not increasing crowds...
