Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

No heart?

if he is still here

WTF??? Very disturbing comments Mick.
Can you please elaborate?

I'd been wondering how a hammy injury can suddenly go to he'll be playing...

If what your saying is the case, this is a massive blow. Both to our proposed style of play and fan morale.

Bra. Vo. Arnold.

Sign a destined-to-be-homesick Latin player around whom you base your teams hopes, new style of play and what-not around, whilst ignoring the fact that off the field, he's (literally) half a world away from home and might, just might, miss his wife/family.

17 days to find a cheap #10-esque player who isn't shit.

Fucking idiot Arnold. Get the fuck out of my club. Why the fuck is he our manager??

Tommy's a TARD. Theres no return from that. Look what happened with the last tard to venture north, whats he doing now?

Still the best player we've ever had, would walk back into the team.

And with some rare exceptions, I don't give a shit who a player has played for in the past. Think I gave a rats that Owen is a Scouser when United beat City last season??

Tommy's only shown glimpses of what he was back then, definitley not the player he used to be. Being a tard tends to do that to you.

I know of a talented playmakler who is now without a contract. He always wanted to play further up the park...

Lets just all calm the F*ck down and give this poor guy a chance, we have no idea whats going on behind the scenes and calling for Arnolds head based on this tiny tiny bit of intel is just insane!

We have so much depth this year its not even funny, so pointless complaining like what i have seen so far is just silly, Perez is just part of a very good team, not the central cog, if he can contribute, good, if he cant, no worries, personally i still think there is going to be alot to come from this little fella, last thing he needs is a bunch of angry fans getting on his back when he is allegedly already homesick and lonely!

How about we make him feel welcome and feel like he wants to stay rather than getting on his case for being human?

Main positive - A manager who changed something around at the 60th minute mark and it made a dramatic improvement.

But really should of won that one.

Ahhh..the first home game!
I thought the first 60 minutes was exactly the same as what drove the fans away last year.
The next 30mins was what will bring them back...along with a few more goals.

Dutchy was outstanding (MOM) with Matty not far behind.
When Arnie hooked Porter & Kwas the game just came alive & we looked quite good.
Bojic (not my favourite player) really added some spark down the right & balanced the attack.

It was great to see so many young kids at the game, with some of the parents I spoke to saying that the free passes made it so more affordable to bring the kids for a day out.Management shoud pat themselves on the back for that idea.

All in all a 6/10.(I hope we improve for the next game.)

Ps. Whoever said Porter was good at crossing the ball was dreaming!
