Central Coast Mariners Squad 2021/22

It's good we're starting to see some signings. I expect to lose a couple of key players but have hope after this season it won't be as many as it might have.

Clisby has done some good things but it's a position we can improve on. Would love to keep the others. Rowles and Ruon, for me, are key players to hold onto, Birraz too ideally as well as Stens and Ollie. Urena would be worth fighting for and also DDS if we can afford him. I believe we have Niz locked in already (he'll also make it overseas),
and happy to have Nigro/Miller but need to strengthen both fullback positions/wingers if we stand any chance of improvement.

Surprised to read this. I thought he stepped up this year and at 22 will only keep getting better. Personally I'm thrilled he's in our starting 11 CB. With Ruon, Dan and probably Miller CB is one of our strongest areas

Out of those three I think Birraz would be the most likely.
Bozanic probably settled back on the coast.
Urena told someone he'd like to stay.
But Birraz absolutely devastated the other night after the loss.

Bozanic is contracted for next season unless another Ziggy situation occurs, but I highly doubt it. That or he is back overseas and we get a transfer fee.

Try watching him whenever we concede. Usually loses his man and or gets caught upfield.
Goal v Western United being a case in point - blind panic and heads it into danger.

Monty seems like the obvious one but geez thats a big change we didnt really need. Whoever comes in needs the owner to back them otherwise the oily rag risks chewing them up and spitting them out.

Seemingly , but for managers with minimal senior manager experience and a smell of a oily rag budget , not a positive looking combo.

hutch is going to Celtic with Ange isn’t he?
Monty must be the favourite. Either way this is absolutely f**ked and it has surely got to do with no real buyer in site for the club. Staj can’t re-sign the core of the squad because he’s most likely been told he can’t give them any kind of reward for this season. So you can’t blame him for jumping ship. What an absolute kick to the guts.
