Considering Sheffield United's history in regards to such things, I think realist is fair.  And also considering the GFC and all that poppycock....

Having said that, I sincerely hope none of that comes into play and it's underway as soon as humanly possible.  Will come in _very handy_ in the long term I would say.

the FFA's talking about building a set of essentially identical flat-pack stadia around the country holding 45k including 20k temporary seats that then get moved after the cup to be used on other stadia - i don't think it's ridiculous to wonder if one of those might wind up either at tuggerah or somewhere in gosford.

so we might do a little better than simply hosting a team for training, we might get games.

The 'flat-pack' stadiums are boutique stadiums of 25,000 with 20,000 added for the World Cup. Sounds ideal for Tuggerah. The extra 20,000 seats go to the community after the event, hopefully with a proviso that we can call on them again to host a Grand Final!!!

We won't need a flat pack stadium.

By 2018 we will already have our own modern stadium at the heaving metropolis of Tuggerah connected to Sydney,Melbourne,Canberra and Brisbane by a VFT network.

There will be an extra freeway to Sydney to compliment the existing and recently upgraded to 6 lanes each way F3 and with quick access to Somersby international airport.

Debate will be raging in the community whether the dying sport of thugby league should be allowed to continue playing out of the crumbling and unsafe Bluetongue Stadium in Gosford.

As their crowds are only a few hundred they will be allowed to stay for the time being.

Prime Minister Dibo will be busy welcoming all the overseas dignitarys to Australia whilst the greenies will be up in arms over the recent bylaws passed in parliament allowing hunters to shoot the increasing population of flying pigs!

a tram setup that did a loop from gosford to erina to tuggerah (perhaps with spurs to the entrance and terrigal) would be in insanely good idea, if it could be made to work. it'd get cars off the road, it'd boost mass transit capacity far above what buses can achieve and it'd make it more feasible for big stretches of the route to be host to commercial and other business development. it'd cost a lot, but with it we could afford significantly greater growth than without.
