    ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

    If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

    ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Australian Football Stuff - not worthy of a thread

Unpopular opinion, but no reason why they can't be a top 5 league in the world in the next 15-20 years
They’ve got the money and the population to be up there. Main issue is not having champions league as the proving ground to really establish themselves in the pecking order and earn more respect.

That's very true. But the Champions League itself continues to change and I wonder if it will be the same/carry the same weight a decade down the track. My interest in European football has waned quite a bite in the last few years, more interested than ever in the a-leagues and how aussies overseas are going

Same here actually (perhaps because my home town team rarely make it these days... ManU)?

Might make them invest more in their football product then?
Seen an article this morning however didn't get to read it however it was alluding to how financial woes with Paramount may impact Ch10 in Australia. Seems Paramount is not travelling very well on a worldwide basis.

This is the crux of the issue;

"A large part of Paramount Global’s loss was related to its streaming business, emblematic of the wider issues facing the entertainment industry as the focus shifts from chasing aggressive growth in streaming to profitability."

No wonder we haven't seen pause and rewind.
