ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Least shocking thing i've seen in a while. Moon's style of football was absolutely horrendous to watch. The sit back, hope the opposition make mistakes to try and score on the counter football is so boring and unimaginative to me. Totally reactive and pretty much saying to the opposition we're not as good as you, we'll just try and get lucky with a goal on the break. Sometimes tbf, it does work, and can work for the right team in certain circumstances, but not on this occasion.

I'm glad we have Monty.

I think it's a case of working with the cattle they have. I dont see how the Bakries are going to bring in anyone half decent without a decent budget to tempt a manager and so far that feels unlikely. There's people they could give a shot but theres a fair bit of risk in that. If you're Ross Aloisi for example would you risk coming back from Japan for the main gig at the roar? You could try to poach an NPL coach but are they better placed biding their time?

The Austin situation was interesting, I watched his All Access episode and he was well settled and loving Oz. He is an experienced player and no doubt did not think highly of Moon or the tactics. The story was they didn't settle well and wanted to go home, I call BS and it could have been the start of the downfall of Moon. They pay good money for a Striker and said player just gets up and leaves when reality sets in on the Club and what they are about.

Agree with Josh the tactics were simple, boring and worked in the first part of the season and problem for them was they were worked out and no longer getting any results or looking like winning a game. Looking at them from outside is no doubt how we looked for a long time to the other supporters. An absolute cluster run on a tight budget.

From the club side I think they would have been frustrated that their big money striker was playing through injury what seemed like the whole time and not having the expected output. I dont know where exactly that went wrong but it wasnt ideal for either party. His wife's socials did make it seem like the family excuse was legit though, their eldest stayed over there I believe.
