It's a great result for the Mariners AFC campaign next year too as it will increase awareness and interest in this competition.

I feel dirty after cheering on Adelaide in that match. It wasn't a pretty win, but its hard to argue with 3-0. Thing is, they've been up 3-0 in another game recently and threw it away - lets hope they use that as motivation to put them away in Tashkent.

Speaking of which, do you reckon the home advantage is 3 goals? What is it; 30 hours flying time plus a huge cultural change? Perhaps 3 goals is the home advantage so I'm not sure its as safe as it may seem ....
