ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

That attitude has been the same issue across 2 different setups now both with some decent managers. I’m reluctant to put it on the managers at that point and suggest that perhaps he needs to get out of his comfort zone, even stumble or fail, to be open to changing.
I'm not sure Veart is all that great with the young ones to be honest. Irankunda has attitude problems as well. I feel that is what will get in his way of maybe reaching his full potential. Veart seemed to leave a lot of the mentoring to Goodwin from what I seen on the access shows about the Reds.

He might not be great but whatever they're doing certainly isnt garbage either. A few overconfident teenagers doesnt change that. And the Irish bloke is a decent manager, as a person maybe not so much but he has performed reasonably well in recent gigs. Can only imagine he's big on tough love so if that hasn't sorted out an ego issue maybe the player just isnt receptive and needs the world to take him down a peg or two.

Alagich looked to have potential, I'm guessing it's his choice to leave.

Blackwood is a prime example of wasting ALeague contracts on players who have shown time and again they're not up to it. Give the kids a go!

Blackwood is everything that is wrong with our system - big, strong, fast kid who got all the breaks and development because of his size. Has not really kicked in as a senior and has probably denied another smaller kid development opportunities that could have made them a professional player.

I’m sure he is a great lad but he has never managed to push on to the next level and is likely destined to be a fringe player for the rest of his career sadly for him
