ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!
If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.
ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

I don't think moving Sydney FC would be a success. They would alienate the support they have at the moment and the people in the west would reject them in much the same way as the central coast rejected a rebadged Manly RL team.Redline said:I agree that a Western Sydney team would spell the end for SFC. And that would be bad for the league.Maybe SFC should move to West Syd Their crowds would go up dramatically, even if they weren't winning, because people would be able to get to the games.

I like them away trips.Auburn Mariner said:Rowdy, that is classic!!
Melbourne Team 2 is a given.
I vote Wollongong. DEFINITE Football culture there, fair ground, will get local support.
What would be a LOT of fun is if the FFA could give the Mariners two sets of away games that includes Melb & Melb on a Sunday then the following Friday Night (how's this for an idea; play Melb & Melb in between XMas & New Year, and stay the week for the Boxing Day Test?).
Then, have the Roar-GCU away games in the same pattern.
Now we are talking some immense trips. A week in Surfers/Vegas; yes please.

Bruce Stadium as the sun goes down and the temperature drops 15C ... then drive, and drive, to find .. everything closed after the game ... what's not to like?

And playing out of the new 30000 seat stadium that the Melbourne Storm and Victory are going to use.marinermick said:Il Duce said:Melbourne team based in dandenong plays at the new stadium
actually they are talking of basing it the other way in the south east - massive growth area and could encompass the gippsland as well

What's with the popular Canberra vote?
It's obviously not based on the place itself.I mean take the Gold Coast for example.I think everyone wants them in for the away trip. But Canberra?? ???
