As said before, we are playing Wolfsburg (or also called VW-City) at home this Friday evening. Wolfsburg is so far the best team of the 2nd part of the season.
Our team will likely be the same as last Saturday but Wolf will be back after his suspension. So I think Spiro has to get back on the bench...

If you watch it, have fun and enjoy being at our stadium via TV :)

Edit: Nrnberg has to pay a 50.000/AUD 84,500 fine for the incidents last Saturday in Frankfurt; Frankfurt has to pay 25.000 as they had bad security checks.

no, I'm not... ;D
thanks, we need luck as we have the chance to get away from the relagation spot with a win on Friday.

That's our beloved and beautiful (the only octagon in Germany) stadium, so we won't do any harm on it :)

I,ll be watching. Is Meggsy any chance of being on the bench?Or is he out of favour completely?

Don't really know. As Wolf will be back I don't think he will be on the bench. He just was on the bench as Wolf was suspended last weekend...
I'd be happy for him if he is on the bench but I don't really know :(

Are you confident of avoiding the drop?

They played well last week........only saw the highlights package but it looked like they played good.

do you mean if we avoid relegation?

We played pretty good last Saturday but it wasn't our best performance. Frankfurt did have some very good chanced after our 2:2 and they scored an offside goal. So it couls have been a draw aswell.

I hope we avoid it...but it will be tough. We have 7 more matches and play against Duisburg and Bielefeld who are facing relegation aswell at home. The chance is there...

If we continue playing like we did against Bayern and Frankfurt then I am pretty confident but if not we will relegate

Aaccording to fcn.de, Glauber has a strain and will miss on Friday, so there is the possibility that Meggsy will be on the bench. I will let you know when I know more about it ;)

Half-time at Nurnberg.Nurnberg leading 1-0 but the match is on the verge of being abandoned due to a waterlogged pitch. It is over an hour since the half-time whistle blew and the pitch has been worked on all that time and been inspected several times by the ref.

UPDATE

It,s off.Got to feel sorry for Nunberg.

The match was stopped after halt-time. But it needed 60mins to get this decision. In my opinion the match could have been re-started as both teams had to cope with these conditions.

We led 1:0 (Saenko) and Blazek kept a penalty after 11mins.

Meggsy and Spiro were on the bench.

During the half-time break some people tried to get the pitch dry using odd things like huge beertables that you see on beerfestivals and snow shovels.

The match will be re-scheduled and will be played over 90mins starting at 0:0

I was watching happy, shame this happened when you were 1-0 in such an important game.

Any idea when the replay will be?

There wasn't that much to watch beside a lot of water...but how did you like our stadium and the atmosphere (if you noticed it)?

not sure yet. we have to play Stuttgart away next Wednesday and Saturday in a week will be the Cup final; so the first date (I assume) would be the Sunday after the Cup final (April 20th).
I personally think that we will play either on April 22 or 23...

I like the stadium. It,s an unusual shape. You could tell the atmosphere was good although the sound didn,t come across all that well on tv here.Probably because the commentators were not actually there but watching on a screen in the UK with the sound dubbed down.

it has indeed an unusual shape - it is an octagon.
the atmosphere was pretty good although we had to wait an hour to get a decision. the best phase was after the 1:0

what did your commentators say about the match?

That sucks that it has to start again at 0-0 - hopefully you'll have safety before kickoff of the replay.
