ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!
If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.
ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

happy said:We now have the chance to proceed further in the table.
We are playing Osnabrueck away tomorrow night (6pm) who are in the lower part of the table. But we have to be aware that they haven't lost a match on a Friday night for a long time.
The last time we played in Osnabrueck was in 2004 when we assured our promotion back to league 1 on that day - that was a good trip back home ;D
Anyway, the team will be likely the same but maybe without Pinola as he has got a flu and it isn't sure if he will be back tomorrow or not.
happy said:We were quite sure that we would win that match as we scored the 1:0 after just 8mins and had Osnabrueck under control, at least for the first 45mins. But in the 91st minute, just seconds before the end, Osnabrueck scored the equaliser...To be honest, we begged for that goal as we didn't do anything in the 2nd half.
We lost 2 points today...

Damn, that sort of draw is so disappointing. 91st minute equalisers suck, eh?
How does that place you in the competition table?
happy said:Tonight is the last home match before the break. We are playing Rostock which haven't one a single match out of the last 7 since they beat Koblenz 9:0.
The line-up is the same as last week. We are having the chance of getting as close as 5 points to a promotion spot.
Looking forward to the match and hope it will be a good one with some goals as dibo and his girlfriend are joining me tonight.
Some 30thousand are going to attend the match.

How long does the winter break go for??
Im interested, how can a side go from winning 9-0, where you would assume momentum would carry them to a few more wins..to not winning in 7?
happy said:We achieved a nice 4:0 win tonight. We played really good and it really looked like football. But Rostock was very bad.
We are now 7th with 4 points away from the 3rd place.
As it was very cold there were just some 24thousand spectators.
We are playing 1860 away next Sunday.

how did dibo go?
dibo said:Ally and I had a great time, even though it was cold. I thought FCN played a lot better in the second half (when we were already 3-0 up). It was great seeing the team, the stadium, the fans - it was a great night out and soothed the withdrawals! After all, my last game was the Wellington match on October 19.
We're going to Munich next week to see Nrnberg play against 1860 Mnchen which will be awesome. Being in the daytime it might even be a little warmer!
Huge thanks to Sandra for helping us with the tickets and showing us around, it was fantastic and great fun! ;D
