Not so much in the Oxford Dictionary which is the eminent source for word definition, and the bastion for English language conservatism. It is usually the last to change and when it does, it means that definition is well and truly ensconced in the English language.

The English language does change over time but I doubt the definition for both sex and gender has changed that much in the Oxford dictionary.

Besides, what is your point? Are you disputing the current Oxford Dictionary definition of gender? If so, what are your credentials in the English language?

It’s exactly what Trump is wanting to do. Have overseas companies make the product in USA. So why would we want yo hurt our own version of this.

Look at sanitizer in covid. We couldn’t buy Chinese products so we started making our own and supporting Aussie businesses. As soon as the Chinese products came back they were cheaper and everyone stopped caring.

Also there is no commentary that they will stop buying our aluminum etc. they are taxing themselves so let them unless they have viable alternatives that need cost realignment to be competitive it won’t change much if anything at all.
