ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Because it came off Broxhams leg / foot.

From my recollection. Bear in mind I'd had a couple of beers by that point.
I'd argue the other night with Rowles. The penalty wasn't given at the time.
When the ref checked it on VAR you couldn't tell if it hit Rowles in the face or his foot before his hand.
Therefore there wasn't enough proof to overturn the original decision.
It wasn't given in our game. The VAR overruled (which is the match ref today) but didn't today. If it was questionable you can't over rule

Agree and Scum deserved the goal as they had a clear Pen not given. Feels good seeing MVC so bad and no end in sight, given them the spoon now. Cruse can have another cry.
Both teams have had legitimate pens denied. It was always going to happen. When they should be given they're not but when it's the Mariners f**k it. No one will care.

Ams is reffing for his career, the whistle was going in the pocket. Steb would have told him er on the side of defence.

I said it wasn't given.
And technically the ref gave the third penalty after going to the sideline.
It was not given by the VAR ref.
You're obviously not getting the point of what I'm saying.
Nevermind.

No he didn't give it. Ams called it back. It was already play on. Without ams that game ends 2 all. Ams was in the ref's ear while watching the replay you can see him talking to Ams. It was given by the var otherwise we wouldn't have gone back for it.
The only way the ref gets a second look is if Ams thinks its a dead set pen.

I put a pineapple on the wanderers, and am chasing big losses this weekend thanks to the first game, but right now I'm pretty happy wanderers are losing.

As I said in my original post. THE PENALTY WASN'T GIVEN.
You then replied..... It wasn't given in our game.
Ams called it back but....
the ref was called to the sideline to look at the monitor.
He gave it not Ams.
As I said you obviously didn't read my first post properly.

Maybe you didn't make sense in your first post.

Your arguing the Rowles decision when there's doubt and saying there not enough proof to overturn a decision that wasn't made. What exactly were you trying to say?

Riddle me this Batman.."Is the conversation between the referee and the VAR recorded?
if not why not?
If so, then why can`t it be replayed so the fans can clearly understand why a penalty is given.

As it stands in my mind ,the conversation goes something like this on the 3rd penalty.

Hey Fieldo, I think i`ve got something in that last scramble".
Rowles handles the ball,it`s not conclusive ,but it might get us across the line.
Ok Ammo let me have a look.
Hey Ammo it looks like it comes off his leg up into his face. I`m not even sure it hits his arm.
Well it maybe the last chance to f**k up the Mariners.
f**kem! what`s one more penalty!

Prove me wrong...
