ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Very rare side effects???? Thats f**king funny Mick. The Govt used to post the adverse affects but after a few months when the results were out of control they stopped publishing it. In the mean time Facebook banned anyone that posting those results until the Goverment and MSM could get a reasonable story together.
What are the benefits? The vaccine didn't even work!
Some posters on here nearly lost their spouses to adverse affects.
I have physically felt the affects of the Pfizer jab in the limbs of people i have worked on.....including a young Police Officer forced to get jabbed.
I presume the resent spate of Footballer's dying of heart attacks since 2020 is some once in a 5000 year coincidence ........or due to too much Gatorade consumption?

You make a litany of claims here you can’t back up and a number of personal anecdotes that doesn’t add to the extensive body of evidence.

Preliminary long-term follow up studies on myocarditis in adolescents and young adults indicate that most patients recover quickly from symptoms and they are mostly mild. Follow-up cardiac MRI studies of patients who had experienced myocarditis following mRNA COVID-19 vaccination frequently demonstrated late gadolinium enhancement (LGE) in areas of their myocardium. Some studies have shown improved but persistent LGE a few months after onset of myocarditis. In other contexts, these changes have represented myocardial scarring. The clinical significance of these findings following myocarditis after COVID-19 vaccination is currently unknown, with longer term follow-up studies still in progress.

Hey @marinermick, what's the long term outcome of myocardial scarring? Can one expect a long and healthy life?

What you have just quoted and the study you cite as evidence shows the incidence of this occurring being 1 in 1.75 million. Let me write that for you against - 1 in 1.75 million.

Since you are going on about long term side effects, can you tell me what the half life of a vaccine is?

An easier question for those who dont understand science or statistics [or refuse to accept them]is
"What was the mortality rate of the unvaccinated"

The death rate is TWELVE TIMES greater for the unvaccinated Wombat. Think about this, not fifty percent greater, or double but TWELVE TIMES. Lets also not forget the awful deaths of those struggling for breath.

Spreading opinions that can can kill those who accept them is stupid and irresponsible.

Maybe a reminder of the mass graves in NY, the freezer trucks outside mortuaries and hospitals and the exhausted distraught staff in overcrowded hospitals could be effective too.

My personal anecdote that doesn’t add to the scientific body of evidence, but as others have shared theirs, I will share mine. My nephew was on a tennis scholarship in the US. Contracted covid before the vaccines were extensively rolled out. He developed long covid and could not play tennis for six months. He nearly lost his scholarship. He finished his degree but never felt as strong and as fit as before Covid. Is now working at a fancy Texan country club coaching tennis, but feels contracting Covid has scuttled his attempt to be a professional tennis player.
