Just two years ago he tore Arsenal apart in the final of the Champions League, and early last year he got a few goals in a guest stint with Manchester United. Aged 36, I reckon he'd still rip it up in the A-League.

Aaaahhhh...... Robbie Fowler!!
After the great (and scarily very on the money) conversation we had a couple of years ago, there are a few Mariners supporters that would love this (Dibo, Dan and I would be going crazy if this happened).
Robbie would be the best thing to happen to this league (Dwight, Juninho and Bozza included). And for a smart board he wouldn't be that hard to convince. We could get Mr Turnbull involved (just to convince Robbie that there is a property market on the Coast).

BTW, Robbie would be my ideal marquee (for those who culdn't figure)....

not that id want fowler....but unlike england, we do not have a 38 round season + cup comps. Makes it a bit easier
