Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Draw is tonight! Still $90mil, but with ticket sales, it will go up.

I got my ticket plus I'm in the office syndicate. I'm not expecting to win Division 1, but even a few $1000 will help!

Well, this was the first every lottery ticket I have purchased. I had to get somebody to tell me how it worked. Normally I would not bother, even if it was a lot of $$$$, but something was nagging & I felt I needed to buy a ticket.

Well, we will see if that "feeling" pays off tonight....

1 $90m hookerbot or 90m $1 hookerbots...

LOL, ..... I suggest you go for the first option, you wouldn't live long enough to enjoy the second! :)

Shoulda heard the stories in the lunch room at work today. People who reckon they had the winning numbers but didn't buy tickets etc. Wonder if anyone got the full $90mill?

Your expected return for a ticket may actually be lower on the big jackpots compared to a regular draw, simply because of the number of entries. I think (gut feeling) a basic ticket on a $2 lottery has a higher expected return for dollars spent than any of the ball-draw tickets. All the same, they only return 60% so your expected return is at best 60c in the dollar.

$3500 on tickets? Looking at pulling back on average $2100 back. He could've gone to Harvey Norman and bought himself a $1400 LCD and walked away with $2100 cash in his pocket and probably been happier.

Your not wrong ... it was not only me whose  jaw dropped everyone all said under their breath f**k ... the worst part was he had about two inches thick of tickets and the agent had to feed each ticket one at a time in took forever ...

The Government came away with over $30m from this I heard...

What does it usually get spent on?

The man who won from Adelaide, I think he sounded lovely. Said he'd take a trip interstate to think about what to use the money on. $53m, and he can get a $70 Jetstar flight to think about what to do with the rest! Haha, I would of headed for somewhere a bit more exotic!

I'm pretty sure it just goes into consolidated revenue, so it's spent on schools, hospitals, police, roads, national parks...

NSW Lotteries deliver $300 million to state coffers, as compared to total state revenues of just under $53 billion. It's a drop in the ocean.

I don't by lotto tickets very often, only when there's a big one on.  I buy my tickets online... sure beats standing in line .

We had a syndicate thingy at work, we won just over 2k between 33 people I think it was.  We end up with about $64 each, can't complain I suppose.

I didn't win anything on my ticket. We won $20.35 in my work syndicate. We "re-invested" that into last nights Powerball. Not sure if we won anything from that as yet.
