She played well but you were never quite sure if she was going to throw it away. Her first serve was awful in the second set.
She did great to capitalize on the opponent’s nerves and get a great start. Was always in front and the other woman was always a little nervey and. But lazy at times.
Great win and great to see an Aussie doing so well.

Sure was. The longer it went and Ash’s serve was slipping i was worried. Especially after she couldn’t serve it out in the 2nd set.

Lucky she composed herself to start the third. Was a critical time. She could of fallen apart after being so close. Instead the other girl looked to relaxed after getting back in it and that cost her the match as much as her bad start.

Ash is amazing in that she doesn’t have the weapons of these girls but is tenacious.

Not a great game all round but with the pressure who can blame either of them

The other girl was great at the net. Great reach and touch. If she played a serve and volley game against Ash she would have been unbeatable. As it was she only occasionally did that.
