Didnt actually cross our minds which yes was our own fault we were just surprised it was on etc and were thinking other games would be made up in the weekends off that are coming up.

In this scenario each team will be awarded 3 points and the 2 goals unless a team forfeits a fixture in which case they will receive no points and no goals. "

So there saying we must play and field a team whatever it takes to make up the squad to play for shits n giggles

You sure?
If games null n void then would'nt all events during the game get voided?
I'm not saying your wrong i just dont understand :-\

Even if a match is abandoned during the game, cards still count.

Look at it this way - should somebody get away with committing a late, dangerous tackle, or punching an opponent, just because the score doesn't count?

Also, if cards don't count in these matches, they'll turn into a bloodbath as players will know they can do whatever they like and get away with it, which is why cards still need to count as the match still needs to be controlled for the safety of the players.

I remember playing in the U/16 when we had an unofficial referee, thus had the mistaken view that we can't be carded.  Great fun, though not much of a match  irate:

Is completely sucky... we were supposed to be playing the team on the bottom of the table
Of course if we were supposed to be playing the team that is thrashing everyone then I wouldn't be quite as upset
